About the Diwali Cards

I decided to launch a range of Diwali cards because it's one of my favourite times of the year, there's so much more to it then clip art candles and fireworks. I realised it never occurred to me to send a Diwali card because I got so used to seeing this mess every year...



EVERY, DAMN, YEAR


It feels like big card companies are more interested in producing quick cheap designs over really meaningful keepsakes or pieces of art. Not totally surprising, but still disappointing.


I tried to design a collection that was small and sustainable, one that served a shelf life longer then the festive season because cards are sent with alot of care and love and I've always found it a real shame they end up in the bin, or recycling or in that random draw full of shit.


So I started research, spoke to a few family and friends to see if they also felt the same and I started work! Process to final pieces below...
